(1) Military personnel will be selected for foreign training and seminars on the following basis:-
(a) According to the merit order of the results of the training done in the country,
(b) According to the qualification and status determined by the nation/organization organizing the training and seminar,
(c) According to the seniority of the post concerned,
(d) According to the requirement and seniority of the respective trade in the seat obtained for specialist training,
(e) In accordance with the seniority of any officer below him in command or work engagement,
(f) According to less opportunity to participate in foreign training/seminar,
(2) When nominating trainees for National Defense Course or similar training, the procedure for nomination of training trainees will be established.
(2a) When selecting trainees of the rank of soldiers and fellow soldiers in the foreign military command and staff training, among the soldiers and fellow soldiers who have received minimum B grading in the last military command and staff college training and are recommended for foreign training, the quota obtained according to the duration of the training results will be selected based on the suitability of the same year only.
(3) In addition to sub-rules (1), (2) and (2A), other provisions related to selection in training and seminars will be determined by the procedures approved by the Ministry.
